May Recipes

Here are the recipes from May CC.
Enjoy and let us know if you try them this summer!
Pita Chips

Take 1 package of Pita Bread and slice each pita
into halves. Then slice the halves into triangles.
(a half will yield 3 triangles).
Arrange the triangles on cookie sheets and
lightly brush melted butter on each one.
Sprinkle coarsely-ground salt (sea salt/kosher salt)
on each triange and bake in 350 oven
for 8 minutes or so.
You'll have crisp homemade chips
to go alongside your salad or salsa.
Variation: add lime juice or garlic
to your melted butter
for lightly flavored chips!
